Alabama Man Arrested For Possession of Controlled Substance

PRENTISS COUNTY, Ala. (WCBI) — A roadblock conducted last week in Prentiss County yields one arrest.

Deputies arrested 31-year-old Spruce Pine, Ala. resident Joshua James June 1 for several misdemeanor charges, as well as felony possession of a controlled substance.

James was found to be in possession of an undisclosed amount of oxycodone and marijuana. He was also charged for driving with a suspended license and a switched license plate.

James also has a hold for the Alabama Department of Corrections.

Circuit Court bond has been set at $5,000, as well as a Justice Court bond set at $2,000.
