AMORY, Miss. (WCBI) — Amory voters will decide Tuesday whether to allow the sale of alcohol in the city.

Voters will make two decisions, one calling for the sale of light wine and beer, the other for liquor.

Voting will be from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. at the Old National Guard Armory on 9th Street South.

City leaders say that based on absentee voting, turnout could be good.

Amory is the third city to consider the issues in a month. Pontotoc voters approved both beer and alcohol last month while Fulton takes up the issue October 28th.
