Amory Man Pleads Guilty to Child Enticement

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) – An Amory man could face upto 10 years behind bars after pleading guilty to child enticement.

31 year old Christopher Pickle plead guilty Monday to trying to entice a minor for sex. Authorities say, Pickle was indicted April 24th on federal charges of using the internet and his cellphone to persuade a minor female to have sex with him. In Mississippi the crime is the same as statutory rape and sexual battery. Pickle could face 10 years in prison. He also faces upto $250,000  in fines.

Senior Judge Neal Biggers will gather more information before making his decision on punishment, which culd take several months.
