Amory Police Investigating Armed Robbery

AMORY, Miss. (WCBI) — The Amory Police Department (APD) is hunting for clues in an early morning armed robbery.

According to a press release provided by the APD, the incident took place about 1:32 a.m. this morning at a Chevron located on Hwy 25 South in Amory.

Surveillance footage captured an unidentified white male allegedly entering the store donning a firearm, demanding the cashier give him money.

It is unknown at this time how much money was taken.

Per the release, the suspect allegedly fled the scene in a “light-colored Dodge Minivan,” headed east on Hwy 278.
