Video: Archeology Day at MSU

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – As part as Archaeology Month Observance, Mississippi State’s Lois Dowdle Cobb Museum of Archaeology was open Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 2:00 pm.

The museum was free to the public and the special weekend event included a hands on excavation station to simulate the experience of an actual archaeological dig. The gallery displays artifacts related to Native American cultures of the Southeastern United States as well as civilizations of the ancient Middle East and Mediterranean Regions.
