TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI)-A $150 million dollar merger deal was completed Sunday. Now customers of M&F bank will see two signs signaling the two financial holding companies merger. Renasant Corporation announced in February it was acquiring Kosciusko-based First M&F Corporation. The combination forms the state’s fourth largest bank with $5.8 billion dollars in total assets. The M&F locations in Tupelo opened Tuesday with the dual sign, but eventually most will become Renasant branches. By the end of the year, six M&F branches will close permanently along with three Renasant branches.
