Video: Barktoberfest Held in Tupelo

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — You’ve heard of Octoberfest, but in Tupelo on Saturday, the city had an Octoberfest of a different kind.

It was Barktoberfest at Tupelo’s Bark Park.

The event was “doggone” special for the canines, as their owners brought them to frolic at the park on Veterans Boulevard.

The Tupelo Parks and Recreation Department sponsored the event, because it wanted a special event for families, and their favorite pets.
