Beauty Is In the Eye Of the Beholder

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)-Immanuel Christian School hosted the first Rebecca’s Room Beauty Pageant Saturday.

Girls of all ages dressed in their best to compete for a good cause. Some of the categories were Overall Most Beautiful and Overall Best Personality. All proceeds from the pageant will go towards buying supplies and materials needed to remodel rooms for children with disabilities. Rebecca’s Rooms is a non-profit organization that was set up after Reid Carter’s 8-year old daughter passed away in December of 2011 after losing her fight to a genetic chromosomal abnormality known as Trisomy 13.
