Blue Springs To Get Police Officer

BLUE SPRINGS, Miss. (WCBI) – Toyota means the small Blue Springs community is growing.

Starting this fall, the town will have police protection for the first time ever. Aldermen are including funds in the new budget that takes effect October 1st for part-time officer Anthony Anderson, who also works for the Verona police department.Police are just one of the issues aldermen are trying to plan for as the town grows. They also are considering setting aside money for parks, new street lights, public works and community buildings.
