Bond Set For Starkville Rape Suspect

STARKVILLE, Miss (WCBI) – Bond was set Monday evening for a man accused of raping an juvenile.

Zachary Townsel, 24, of Maben is charged with statutory rape.

Townsel’s bond was set at $5,000.

Prosecutors say the victim is a 15 year-old girl.

Starkville police are not releasing much about the investigation, except their investigation began this past Saturday.
