Boswell has Big Plans for Brooksville

BROOKSVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – For the first time in eight years, Brooksville elects a new mayor.

David Boswell handily defeated incumbent Tammie Holmes and Demarcus Wells is Tuesday’s general election.

Boswell plans to make big changes to the small Noxubee County town.

He says, ” Well, I would like to see street improvement. I would like to see children’s recreation, sewer improvements. We have a lot of things missing in the town of Brooksville, so I want to see all of those things, advancement made to the town, to build up, have jobs and everything come in our community.”

Public office is nothing new to Boswell.

He’s served on the Board of Aldermen for the past 12 years.
