Video: Bragg Retiring From Columbus Schools

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — A former state school administrator of the year is retiring.

Nancy Bragg is officially stepping down from the Columbus city school district December 19. The school board is expected to accept her retirement at its meeting Monday night.

Bragg has been in education more than 33 years and was named the state’s 2012 administrator of the year for her work as principal at Sale Elementary School.

Most recently, she has been the district’s assessment and special services coordinator.
