Break-in Goes Bad, Juvenile Shot and in Critical Condition

HOLLY SPRINGS, Miss. (WCBI) – An attempted break-in at the Stop & Shop on Van Dorn Avenue early Monday morning leaves ones juvenile shot and in critical condition.

The Holly Springs Police Department says two juveniles attempted to break-in the store by breaking the outside glass. The store owner then fired a gun, striking one of the juveniles.

The injured juvenile was transported to the Med in Memphis.

An investigation is ongoing, and police say no arrests have been made at this time.
