Skies will begin mostly sunny on Monday, but clouds will increase through the day. For most all of us, rain will not be seen through the morning and afternoon, but rain will move in from the west later today. Areas near I-55 will see the rain by late afternoon or early evening, and it will then move east. For areas near the MS/AL state line, it will be tonight/overnight when the rain falls. Though we may hear some thunder, severe weather is not expected.
Rain will move out early Tuesday morning, and skies will then become mostly sunny.
Wednesday will feature a mix of sun and clouds, but Thursday is a day we are watching for widespread rain with strong to possibly severe storms.
Some rain will hang around on Friday, but this coming weekend is currently looking relatively quiet with highs over 60 degrees.
