Bridges Out of Poverty Students Graduate From Program

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss (WCBI)- Seven students graduated Tuesday night from Starkville’s Bridges Out of Poverty Program.

It’s a program designed to teach, help and motivate people live better lives.

Friends and loved ones gathered at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection for the ceremony.

Mayor Parker Wiseman and leaders of the Bridges Out of Poverty Program gave words of encouragement to the graduates before they received their diplomas .

Bridges helps participants understand, regardless of how much money you make, the causes of poverty and helps them work together to find solutions.

Bridges Out of Poverty is funded by donations from non-profit organizations as well as generous donation from people within the community.
