Brooksville Tire Slasher Caught Again

[bitsontherun qbOEkqo6] BROOKSVILLE, Miss.  (WCBI) – Brooksville Police and the U-S Marshals team up to nab one their most wanted fugitives.

Authorities got a tip that Frederick Lane was laying low in Lowndes County.

Police think he slashed the tires on their police cars, earlier in this Summer.

Lane was charged with felony malicious mischief.

He posted bond.

Since then, investigators think he’s been breaking into houses.

When they caught up with him Thursday (9-6) morning, he was hiding under a trailer.

Brooksville Police Chief  Reginald Adams said,  ” Today, we went to close a felony warrant on Fredrick Lane out on Whisper Pine Road in Lowndes County. With the help of U.S. Marshals, we was able to apprehend Mr. Lane. He was up under a trailer house.”

Lane is in the Noxubee County Jail.

He’ll appear in Brooksville Municipal Court, September 19.
