Brooksville Woman Dies in Head on Collision

NOXUBEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Brooksville woman is dead after a head on collision Friday afternoon.

Noxubee County Sheriff Terry Grassaree says, the accident happened on Highway 388 just out side of the Brooksville city limits.

32 year old Kimberly Wells was fatally injured when her Toyota Camry hit head on with a Dodge Charger driven by 21 year old Frederick Tate.

Wells was pronounced dead on the scene due to internal injuries.

Tate was taken to the Noxubee General Hospital with non life threatening injuries and has since been released.

No word yet on how the accident took place.

It remains under investigation.
