Video: Local Students Celebrate 100 Days Of School

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Students at Columbus Christian Academy are celebrated an important milestone Thursday: the 100th day of school.

Teachers and students in pre-k thru 12th grade celebrated with various activities centered around the number “100.”

One activity was a CANpaign to collect canned food or non-perishable food items for Helping Hands, a local charity.

Students divided into teams and competed to bring the most food items.

The winning team was recognized during a special assembly. In all, students collected 1, 572 cans.
