Clay County Drug Investigation nets 4 Arrests, Additional Charges for Inmate

Clay County Sheriff’s Department Press Release:

WEST POINT, Miss. — On May 25th 2014, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office arrested Corey Quinn of Woodland for Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute as a result of a traffic stop. Quinn is currently being held in the Clay County Jail on a detainer for the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Approximately 65 grams of Marijuana, along with scales and paraphernalia were seized.

On Thursday May 29, 2014, The Clay County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, West Point Police Department, Mississippi Department of Corrections, and the Mississippi Alcohol and Beverage Control executed 2 drug related search warrants in the Mantee community in Clay County. The following arrests were made as a result of those search warrants:

John Henry Moye: Sale of Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine – Bond Denied

Brad Reed: Sale of Cocaine (2) and Sale of Methamphetamine – $75,000.00 Bond.

Antonio Brownlee is still wanted by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office for Sale of Cocaine

On May 30, 2014, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tiffany Rupert of West Point for Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Distribute. Rupert was caught by Clay County Jail staff trying to introduce controlled substances into the correctional facility. Rupert’s bond has been set at $50,000.00. Clay County inmate Derrick Johnson has also been charged with Attempt to Commit an Offense.
