There is a lot of moisture in the air right now and it looks like it will generate areas of fog during the overnight hours. Be sure to slow down and use your low beams if you encounter it while driving tonight. Lows will be in the low 50s and but a few upper 40s cannot be ruled out.
More clouds than sun are expected on Thursday but keep your fingers crossed that at least some decent breaks will develop. A few stray showers are possible during the day but the chance of rain is only 10%. Even with the cloud cover in place, warmer upper 60s are expected to return.
Temperatures will continue to moderate as we get into Friday and the weekend. Rain chances are not zero during this time frame but they should stay on the lower end of the spectrum. The best chance of rain will likely be just off to our northwest through Sunday afternoon.
A strong cold front is now looking more likely for Sunday night and Monday morning. The ingredients for strong (maybe even severe) storms appear to becoming together but we still have a few days to watch it unfold. We’ll keep you updated on the latest developments later this week.
