Clouds are already beginning to thin across the viewing area at this hour. Once they do, temperatures will easily plummet into the upper 20s before 10pm. Light winds will also aid in the quick drop this evening. Expect lows tonight to be in the lower 20s. Tonight will be the coldest night of the next 7 days.
Your last Sunday of 2012 is looking to be absolutely lovely. Skies will be Mostly Sunny and highs will reach the upper 40s. Clouds will increase Sunday night unfortunately due to an approaching system from the west.
New Years Eve isn’t looking all that bad as of now. Skies will be mostly cloudy and Highs will reach the lower 50s. It’s the hours after sunset on New Years Eve that are promising to be wet and nasty. Most of our weather models still drag the bulk of rain into our viewing area by midnight. Lows will only drop into the 40s. The good news? We most likely will not have any storm development. Plan on wearing your rain attire, ringing in the new year and wringing out your clothes.
