Morning temperatures are in the 30s, and it looks like they will stay there all day. Skies will stay overcast to mostly cloudy for Monday, and scattered rain will be seen–mostly across the southern part of our viewing area–through the morning.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until noon on Tuesday for our northern counties. There may be freezing rain on elevated surfaces (bridges and overpasses, for example), tree limbs, and power lines. A Freezing Rain Advisory is in effect for Grenada and Carroll Counties until 6 PM on Monday. Several locations have Flood Warnings in effect.
Rain will lift to the north (becoming more widespread) by this afternoon. It may be heavy at times.
Scattered rain will continue overnight and into Tuesday, and temperatures will stay mostly in the 30s.
It looks like it will NOT be raining most of Wednesday, but Thursday does feature another chance for scattered rain.
Friday finally starts a dry stretch of days.
