Clouds will thin out during the night and the wind will relax. Overnight lows should bottom out in the mid 20s so be sure to bundle up if you will be out and about.
Mostly sunny skies will return on Thursday but we’ll remain on the cool side. Afternoon temperatures should peak in the mid 40s. Thankfully the wind will be much, much lighter so the wind chill won’t be a problem.
Clouds will increase Thursday night and it now looks like our entire area will have a good chance of showers Friday and Friday night. We’re bumping up the rain chance to 70%.
The last weekend of 2012 should be pretty nice albeit cool. Afternoon highs both Saturday and Sunday look like they will be mainly in the mid to upper 40s and skies will be mostly sunny.
There is uncertainty as to what will happen early next week. One computer model suggests a very wet New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day while another one keeps us dry. I’m going to keep the rain chances low for right now but that may change as more information becomes available.
