Mississippi will soon be featured on the Discovery Channel.

Aberdeen, Tupelo and Columbus will be featured as part of the upcoming TV special, “the official best of Mississippi.”

Film crews will be in the area during the next few weeks.

The special will air on the Discovery Channel Christmas day.

Aberdeen will be recognized as the best historic port city.
