Video: Columbus Church Breaks Ground on New Building

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — One Columbus church is celebrating a new beginning, and it’s using a building to do it.

Members of Zion Gate Missionary Baptist Church held a groundbreaking ceremony Sunday morning to introduce their vision for the church’s new 15,000 square foot building.

The facility will seat between 600 and 700 people.

Construction is expected to be complete in December of next year.
