Columbus Man Accused of Burglarizing Neighbor’s House

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A Columbus man finds himself in jail after being accused of burglarizing his neighbors house.

25 year old Joshua Jones allegedly broke into his neighbor’s house after they left the house around 8:30 a.m. on November 2nd. When the owner came home they noticed their television, surround sound system, DVD player, PSP2, and several DVDs had been taken.

The police were given an anonymous tip that Jones was the one responsible.

Jones is charged with Burglary of a Dwelling and his bond is set for $3,500.

Authorities say most of the stolen items have been recovered.
