Columbus Man Charged with 22 Counts of Running Stop Sign, Drug Charges

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — A Columbus man will face a stack of paper work when he gets to court next month.

21-year-old Tyrone Pratt is charged with 22 counts of running a stop sign, felony possession of marijuana and numerous other misdemeanors, after refusing to stop for Columbus Police.

He finally was stopped in the 400 block of Martin Luther King Drive after going through stop signs and traffic lights with officers in pursuit halfway across town.

He is free on a bond totaling more than $16,000, pending an Oct. 8 court date.
