Columbus School District to Introduce Superintendent Finalists

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Columbus residents get their say in naming a new school superintendent.

The school board will introduce the finalists for the job Tuesday night during a community forum. Area residents will be able to submit questions and fill out survey forms at the end of the night.

The meeting starts at 6 p.m. at Cook Fine Arts Magnet School. The school board will meet at 8 a.m. Wednesday to discuss a final choice.

The finalists have been picked from eight original interviews and almost 60 applicants from 24 states.
