Columbus Schools Test Scores Are In

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Officials with the Columbus Municipal School District are working on ways to improve student test scores.

District leaders met friday to discuss their plans for the upcoming school year.

The Mississippi Department of Education gave the school district’s performance a “D” rating.

Columbus High School received an “F”, showing sharp declines in test scores.

Only two schools within the district -“Cook Elementary Fine Arts Magnet School” and “Franklin Academy” saw improvements in their ranking.
