COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – It’s bigger.

It’s better.

It’s brand spanking new.

Firefighters at Station One in Columbus watched their bright red truck roll in Friday morning.

It can pump 750 gallons a minute.

That’s a whole lot of water.

Its ladders are enclosed, which can save on wear and tear, and, thanks to independent suspension, it can make tighter turns.

Just in case you were wondering, the new truck is 15 inches longer than the one it is replacing.
