WASHINGTON, D.C. (WCBI) — Mississippi Congressman Alan Nunnelee continues his recovery from brain surgery close to the nation’s capital.
He moved today to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md., which is where he will begin chemotherapy and radiation treatment this week.
Nunnelee is expected to continue speech and mobility rehabilitation. His staff reports that the congressman’s speech and left-side mobility continue to improve.
The 1st district representative underwent surgery at M.D. Anderson in Houston to have an intercranial mass removed from the right side of his brain earlier this month.
