The storm system that brought anywhere between 2″ and 6″ of rain to our area will continue to pivot away during the day Tuesday. Lots of clouds and spotty showers are expected for the 2nd day of the work week but no significant new rainfall will occur. We’re going to forecast a high of 69; however, things will be much warmer if there are some decent breaks in the cloud deck but it may be even cooler if the clouds remain thick.
Brighter skies will definitely return on Wednesday. It will be a nice day and temperatures will climb back into the upper 70s.
Mostly sunny and warm conditions will stick around for both Thursday and Friday. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s.
Our next fall cold front will enter the picture sometime during the weekend. It will bring cooler air to the region along with another chance of rain.
