Corinth Adopts 2013 Budget

CORINTH, Miss. (WCBI) – One North Mississippi community adopts it’s budget for 2013 with no changes to its property taxes.

The City of Corinth has passed its $9.96 million budget that will increase pay for employees beginning October 1st.

The increase will be 5% or 50 cents an hour, which ever is greater.

The board has received requests from several agencies for funding totaling just over $503,950.

The city also has agreed to move forward with a cooperative economic development pact with Alcorn County.

Under the pact Corinth and Alcorn County will share the cost on any economic development projects through out the county.
