CORINTH, Miss. – (WCBI) With her board ousted, Kristy White is quitting as director of the Corinth Convention and Vistor’s Bureau after two years on the job.

White submitted her resignation Thursday, a day after Corinth Aldermen and Alcorn County supervisors removed all seven members of the C-V-B BOARD in a dispute over how the board is spending its budget.

Friday afternoon, aldermen appointed new members to the board.

The new appointees are Laura Albright, Billy Taylor, Danny Timmons, Russell Smith, Pauline Sorrell and Luke Doehner. Doehner and Sorrell are returning to their previous spots.
