Corinth Man Charged with Aggravated Assault

CORINTH, Miss. (WCBI) — A Corinth man has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault .

Bryson Warren, 19, of Whippoorwill Cove, Corinth, is the suspect in the January 9 shooting that left one person injured.

Officials responded to a disturbance call January 9 at a Pierce Street residence. When officers arrived they found Mike Murphy with a gunshot wound to the lower back.  After investigating, police found that Murphy had been in a confrontation with a male subject outside the home and was later shot when he answered a knock to the door.

Warren’s bond has been set at $50,000.
