Cracker Barrel Opens Monday in Corinth

CORINTH, Miss. — Cracker Barrel Old Country Store will open at a new location Monday, June 9, at 6 a.m. in Corinth. The new store at 1900 U.S. 72 W. is located off U.S. 45 and U.S. 72. The store will be open Sunday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The 8,960 square-foot Corinth store is the 12th store in Mississippi and brings approximately 200 jobs to the area.

Jason King, a Booneville native, has been named general manager. King began his Cracker Barrel career in 1999 after serving in the U.S. Navy as a machinist mate.

“Transitioning to Cracker Barrel from the Navy was a great fit for me,” said King. “The skill set that I built while in the Navy has allowed me to build a career and be a leader in Cracker Barrel.”

After beginning his Cracker Barrel career as a server and working at several Cracker Barrel locations in Virginia, Tennessee and Mississippi, King was offered the general manager position in Corinth.

“This store has allowed for me to move back to the area I grew up in. Not only did Cracker Barrel provide me a chance to advance my career they also provided a chance for me to be closer to my family in Booneville,” said King.

At Cracker Barrel, breakfast is available all day with lunch and dinner options beginning at 11 a.m. Cracker Barrel serves home-style meals prepared from scratch like homemade chicken n’ dumplins and also offers Wholesome Fixin’s, classic country meals with a lighter twist – full of flavor and under 600 calories.

Each Cracker Barrel location is uniquely decorated with real American artifacts, memorabilia and signage, collected by a team of Americana experts. The walls of Cracker Barrel stores reflect the nation’s rich history.
