Crowded Webster Justice Court Opens Monday

WEBSTER COUNTY, Miss.(WCBI)-A week has ended since business has been going on inside the cramped Webster County Justice Court Building in Downtown Eupora.

The winter term of circuit court took place as county officials, a court reporter, and attorneys got the job done in spite of structural modifications being done since the Walthall Courthouse fire.

According to Public Defender Attorney Stephanie Mallette, the session of court went well as everyone adjusted inside tight spaces.

Much needed file were made available by the circuit clerk’s office and the fact that there were no jurors needed and no circuit court elections, was a plus.

The circuit clerk’s office should be ready for business by Monday (1-28-13) morning at eight.
