Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi, ICSO Investigating Multiple Burglaries of Dwelling

ITAWAMBA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Authorities are requesting the public’s assistance regarding two separate burglaries on one home.

Early in the morning Aug. 23, an unknown suspect(s) broke into a red, metal shop at a residence located at 673 Moore Rd. South in Itawamba County. According to a press release provided by Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi, the homeowner reported several boxes of ammunition missing, along with several “long guns.”

Two days later, the same home was targeted in a separate burglary. The homeowner reported missing a red 2011 Honda Rancher 4-wheeler and a wheeled red Craftsman generator. The 4-wheeler, per the release, “has one mud tire and three factory tires, and will be missing the black plastic of the 4-wheeler.”

The victim is offering a $1,000 reward for conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the alleged burglaries. The victim’s insurance is also offering a $2,500 reward for the same outcome.
