COLUMBUS, Miss. – (WCBI) “When I was young we did not have the means to do this,” says Greg Blough as he strung a set of lights across a metal stand.

Blough says it is his own unique way to brighten the Christmas spirit in us all.

His home on Ridge Road in Columbus is now adorned with 30,000 colorful lights. The annual display takes months of planning and years of collecting.

Together, we designed a star. We even constructed a Christmas tree made of lights.

It was the conversation that came with the work that was memorable. The Michigan native moved here five years ago, and now calls the Friendly City home.

His home for the holidays is a place he wants everyone to enjoy, making this just one more day in the life.
