CALEDONIA, Miss. – (WCBI) Whether it is for birthday parties, school tours, or a place to go to spend a beautiful fall afternoon.

Country Pumpkins in Caledonia is a whimsical place that all can enjoy.

Dwight and Jean Colson have been offering fall festivities at their farm for more than a decade.

What started as an experiment with a few pumpkin seeds and three acres back in 2000, has now grown into a sprawling patch that covers 30 acres of the Colson’s Caledonia farm.

From dried gourds to live squash, and several types of pumpkins in between, Country Pumpkins has a wide variety for any fall display or jack-o-lantern.

Country Pumpkins at Pine Meadows Farm offers more than an opportunity to buy locally grown produce. It’s a fun day at the farm for children, and those, like myself, who still act like a kid from time to time.

Jean and Dwight Colson’s pumpkin patch will be open through November 4th, 2012. Until then, hosting fall festivities that are fun for the entire family is just one more day in the life.
