Dollar General Awards $20,000

Goodlettsville, Tenn. (WCBI) — Friday, the Dollar General Literacy Foundation awarded $20,000 to Columbus schools, nonprofits and literacy organizations to support adult, family and summer literacy programs.

Award recipients include:

Greater Columbus Learning Center Columbus — $18,000.00
HEARTS After-School Tutoring Program, Inc. Columbus — $2,000.00

literacy and education. Since its inception in 1993, the Dollar General Literacy Foundation has awarded more than $92
million in grants to nonprofit organizations, helping more than five million individuals take their first steps toward
literacy or continued education.
