Duck Hill Police Chief Demoted

DUCK HILL, Miss. (WCBI)-The Duck Hill Police Chief has been removed from his position.

Monday night, Duck Hill alderman voted 3 to one to remove Wilbourn from police chief and reinstate him as a patrolman.

Police Chief Sean Wilbourn was suspended last week for job performance issues.

The suspension arouse out of a January 15th incident at a home on Rosemont Street.

Residents there swore out warrants against the Chief for public profanity, public drunkenness, and simple assault.

Misdemeanor charges were filed against Wilbourn days prior to his suspension with the Duck Hill Municipal Court.

Circuit Court Judge Clarence Morgan the third, did not find probable cause to issue an arrest warrant for Wilbourn.
