ECC Announces Annual Andy Morris Book of Golden Deeds Program

COLUMBUS, Miss. (Press Release) — The Exchange Club of Columbus announces the annual Andy Morris Book of Golden Deeds program to be held Thursday, April 10th at 11:45 a.m.

The event will be held in the Mississippi Room at Lion Hills Center and Golf Course.

Volunteer efforts are very important to our society and should not go unnoticed. The National Exchange Club’s longest running project, the Book of Golden Deeds Award, recognizes dedicated volunteers who give endless hours of their time and talents toward making their communities better places to live. Ever since the Exchange Club sponsored the first award in 1919, thousands of unsung heroes have been recognized.

The Exchange Club is the country’s oldest service organization operating exclusively in the United States. Exchange sponsors activities designed to benefit, award and develop our nation’s youth, promote crime prevention, serve senior citizens and recognize military and public safety service providers. Exchange also promotes Americanism programs, and its national project is the prevention of child abuse.
