LOUISVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)- East Central Community College took time to get to know the Louisville community this afternoon.

The college held a public forum called “2020 vision” in the flamingo room at Lake Tiak O’Khata.

Faculty and staff set up different tables to get input from the community on how they can improve the future of the college.

ECCC President, Dr. Billy Stewart hopes to gain a lot of insight from those that they serve.

“There’s a reason why the 15 community colleges in Mississippi, or at least the 14 have the word “community” in their title. Because we need to be that, we need to respond to those needs and we’re really looking forward to getting all the input and taking it back and combing through it to developing a great plan for ECCC,” says Stewart.

ECCC will hold another forum in Forest next Wednesday.
