Tonight: After yet another daytime scorcher, we will see temperatures drop to the low 70s overnight. The skies will be mostly clear, but the humidity will keep it feeling muggy out there.
Sunday: A mix of sun and clouds can be expected again, and chances for rain will remain very low. Afternoon highs will be in the mid 90s with the humidity making it feel even worse. Heat index values will rise into the 100s again. Overnight low temperatures will drop into the low 70s.
Labor Day Holiday: A cold front will approach the area and give us a better opportunity for scattered showers and storms. For the most part, though, we will see partly cloudy skies and highs remain in the mid 90s. Overnight temperatures will be in the low 70s.
Tuesday: The cold front is expected to move through early on Tuesday and bring us some drier air. Ahead of the front we will see about a 30% chance for showers and storms, but the skies will clear after the front’s passing. We will reach the low 90s for our highs, but then low temperatures will drop into the mid 60s overnight!
Wednesday – Friday: A return of high pressure to the region will bring us a sunny, pleasant stretch to finish out the week. Highs will range from the upper 80s to low 90s, and overnight lows will sink into the mid 60s.
