Sodas for Siblings Class Helps Prepare Big Brother, Big Sister

Being a new big brother or big sister is not always easy, so OCH Regional Medical Center is helping to make the transition a little smoother. The ‘Sodas for Siblings’ class is set for Saturday, July 19 in the OCH Educational Facility.

This hour-long class begins at 2 p.m. and helps prepare soon-to-be brothers and sisters for the new baby, focusing on safety, hand hygiene and how to assist mom and dad. Children receive a certificate, an “I’m a Big Brother” or “I’m a Big Sister” T-shirt and are treated to an ice cream party.

The class is free to children whose parents are enrolled in the Stork Support program. The class fee is $20 for one sibling and $15 for each additional one. To sign up or for questions, contact Paula Hamilton at (662) 615-3364.
