Top Southern Bass Instructor Comes to Northeast for FREE Masterclass

BOONEVILLE, Miss. – One of the South’s top bass instructors is bringing his unique teaching style to Northeast Mississippi Community College on Friday, September 6.
Nashville, Tennessee’s Adam Nitti will host a free masterclass in the Hines Hall Auditorium on the Northeast Booneville campus beginning at 10 a.m.
Nitti’s visit is part of a series of musicians that Northeast assistant band director Jason Beghtol brings in to help strengthen the Northeast music department.
“The purpose for these clinics is to educate students on musical fundamentals, creativity, and various other various other topics to advance the students’ personal knowledge in the form of an interactive presentation/lecture from musicians that are incredibly talented and internationally known,” Beghtol said.
Nitti, the founder of AdamNittiMusicEducation.com, believes in focusing on continual improvement throughout practice and musical fulfillment and finds pride in bringing joy to the audience and the musician.
Nitti wants each musician to discover and develop his or her own unique voice and identity and develop not only as an instrumental player but as an overall musician.
Through AdamNittiMusicEducation.com, Nitti offers bass instructional videos and study materials and presents lessons in a curriculum-based approach through high-definition videos.
Nitti’s website offers not only a standard membership that allows access to the complete lesson library and materials but Nitti also offers individualized critiques and feedback to students on a higher level.
In addition to his instructional website, Nitti has released four albums with the bass musician’s latest being “Liminal,” which focuses on composition and groove and is a reflection of the author’s growth through the music world during the past seven years.
Furthermore, Nitti is currently working with drummer Kirk Covington and keyboardist Michael Whittaker on a project entitled “Treo Massiv,” which came from the three-person jam sessions and improv sittings; Nitti is also in the process of remastering his first album, “Adam Nitti & Liquid Blue.
When not working with AdamNittiMusicEducation.com and his releases, Nitti also finds time to be a staff instructor with both the Victor Wooten bass and nature camps and the Gerald Veasley Bass Boot Camp.
Nitti has also explored the editorial side of music serving as a columnist for Bass Player Magazine as well as Bass Musician Magazine.
Continuing the academic side of learning the bass,
Nitti is an adjunct faculty member of Lagrange College’s school of music and serves as a bass clinician for Aguilar, D’Addario and Essential Sound Products.
