TCT productions

Tupelo Community Theatre’s production of the Christmas classic It’s a Wonderful Life will be presented December 5-7 at the Lyric Theatre in downtown Tupelo. Production times are 7:30 p.m. each evening, as well as a 2 p.m. matinee on December 7th. Tickets go on sale November 25 and are $18 for adults and $6 for students and younger. The stage adaptation tells the saga of George Bailey, an Everyman from the small town of Bedford Falls, whose dreams of escape and adventure have been quashed by family obligation and civic duty. His guardian angel has to descend on Christmas Eve to save him from despair and remind him that his life has been, after all, a wonderful one.

TCT is partnering with the Girl Scouts’ Food for Families drive for this production and will offer free concessions to those bringing canned food contributions to the production.

TCT will offer two school performances of It’s a Wonderful Life at 9 a.m. and Noon on December 2nd . Classes may reserve their space anytime. Tickets for these performances are $4.
