Say goodbye to the warm weather because fall-like air is just around the bend. Right now it looks like the rest of October and the start of November will be below average and we’ll have a few opportunities for frost. How about that!
Friday will be mostly cloudy and there will be a few showers out and about during the day. Moisture looks limited but don’t be surprised if you have to use an umbrella or run the wipers on the car from time to time. Afternoon temperatures will range anywhere from the 50s in the northwest to the 70s in the southeast. Breezy northwesterly winds between 10 and 15 mph will develop during the day.
We’ll start out in the 40s Saturday morning but we’ll only recover to around 60 (give or take) by the afternoon. Northerly winds between 1o and 25 mph will keep that fall feel going. On the plus side, we should see a good amount of sunshine during the day.
It looks like 30s will be the norm by Sunday morning but the wind may stay up just enough to keep Jack Frost at bay. We’ll see. The threat of frost looks higher during Sunday night and Monday night when winds will be lighter.
