PICTURES: Fatal Accident in Chickasaw Co.

CHICKASAW COUNTY, Miss. (MHP Press Release) — A fatal accident occurred in Chickasaw County today around 3:30PM on MS Hwy. 245 about a half mile north of US 45 Alt. A south bound tan 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by Yolanda Keeton, a 28 year old female from Houston MS, collided head on with a north bound white Ford F-250 driven by William Browning, a 47 year old male from Myrtle MS.

Mr. Browning was pronounced dead at the scene by the Chickasaw County Coroner. Mark Chism, a 48 year old male and a passenger in the Ford was transported to NMMC Tupelo with non life threatening injuries. Ms. Keeton was transported to NMMC Tupelo with critical injuries.

The accident remains under investigation by MHP.
